NGOs

Introduction.

Since its inception in 1996, the Regional Conference on Migration (RCM), also known as the Puebla Process, has recognized the importance of civil society. Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) devoted to migration and related subjects have participated in aspects of the Puebla Process including seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Furthermore, the NGOs have worked with the RCM in pursuing the goals of the Plan of Action. At every Vice-Ministerial Meeting, the NGOs have issued a parallel Joint Communique. These documents are available on the menu to the left. You can also browse through lists of participating NGOs, sorted geographically and alphabetically.

Many of these NGOs also have their own websites, available through both lists.
